Like an architect Face a Face works with volumes, shapes, materials, colours and textures to give its glasses the power to express the personality of their wearer. Each collection is preceded by a research and a design stage, resulting in new styles enhanced by innovative concepts incorporating new sensibilities. This multi award-winning brand indeed produces, little pieces of art.
Straight from the Outback - 2014
Rosemary Petyarre was born in 1945 at Utopia, north east of Alice Springs. Rosemary was one of a group of Anmatyerre women at the forefront of the art movement in the Utopia area, who travelled to Indonesia to learn techniques for producing batik.
In her paintings, she incorporates traditional iconography and realistic elements. The themes are primarily bush medicines, yam dreaming and body painting.
They would sing and dance in a ceremony demonstrationg their respect and love for the land. The body paint designs would vary from ceremony to ceremony and would depend on the subject and the time of year the ceremony is held.
Jono Hennessy have used Rosemary’s inspiring Bush Yam fabric to create a Limited Edition iconic fabrix frame.

Chanel Christmas sparkle - 2013
Chanel sunglasses go far beyond basic functionality; timeless and striking they are a style statement that complete the Chanel silhouette. Extravagantly designed, yet effortlessly beautiful. Head designer and creative director Karl Largerfeld has gone baroque with this eyewear collection for Chanel. Entitled Bijou, the collection is inspired by the opulence of costume jewellery.

Bottega Veneta is so confident of its frame lines, that it has long encompassed a 'no-logo' philosophy. The brand believes items of exceptional quality do not require excessive designer embellishments to confirm their worth. As such, many frames in the collections are discreetly marked with the iconic butterfly insignia only, allowing the unique style of each pair to 'do the talking' as demonstrated by the clear Greige frame pictured above.
